Children’s National accepts Medicaid and most private health plans. For more information or to view a list of insurance plans covered, please visit our website. You may call our customer service representatives Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST at 301-572-3542 or toll free at 800-787-0021. Confirming coverage directly with your insurance provider is advised.
Please bring the following:
- Picture identification card (for parents and patients over 18).
- Insurance card and Social Security Number for the patient.
- Name, address and phone number of your child’s local treating physician.
- Some specialties require lab tests and paperwork prior to your visit. Please check our website or discuss those requirements with your child’s pediatrician.
